Q: Your stories have amazing detail, you are clearly a well refined writer. When did you start writing weight gain literature? What inspired you?

A: I wrote my first story over four years ago. I had been reading WG stories for at least five years and honestly it was Mollycoddles and her excellent work that inspired me. I enjoyed WG stories so much I felt that I should give back. My first two attempts (which I fondly refer to as Tara Alpha and Tara Beta) were horrible. In Alpha, I covered everything chronologically that I've covered in Tara 1-10 now. In Tara Beta I was better, but I both disliked my efforts so much I scrapped them. However, I still had the urge to write and eventually put out what became Tara 1. Mollycoddles graciously put it up on her website and I never looked back. For a long time her site was where I published my works, until Mollycoddles herself transfered over here to DA. Tara 1 itself was inspired by a girl I went to high school with and had a crush on, and its writing was a bit of wish fulfillment on my part.

Q: You describe BBWs in a manner that is simply stunning. Nina at the donut shop, shedding her sweat pants was simply it for me. What about BBWs, overall, attracts you?

A: I've often wondered why it is I like big girls myself, so this is an interesting question. I think that there's just something alluring to the curves, to the softness of a fat girl. Maybe it's the pillow effect, maybe it's having more to have fun with and explore, but that's as close as I can come to saying what the allure is. Then again, everything's bigger on a big girl, including what almost all guys like--her breasts.

----------------------------------------------------

Q: Why is Charles Dickens your favorite writer?

A: Charles Dickens is my favorite writer because of the way he does description. It's always so thorough, and every character has a little tick that distinguishes them, you can really see the character or the place. I think that's critical for my writing, especially WG fiction. I also think that he's a pretty good writer and in general enjoy reading his stories. They can have a lot of humor, whether outright (in Nicholas Nickleby the title character actually laughs at quite a bit) or more tongue-in-cheek. Though he was quite the social commentator and very active in the reform movement, that's not a reason for why I like him.

----------------------------------------------------

Q: I can say without a doubt that you write stories based on your own experiences. When did you first start dating BBWs?

A: I hate to put your intuition into question, but I will honestly tell you I've never dated a girl that I'd consider to be a BBW. Now, I did ask out the inspiration for Tara when I was in high school, but was rebuffed at that time. Recently I did date a fine young lady who was tall, and tall girls tend to be built on a bit larger scale than other girls. Her Halloween costume revealed she might have put on some pounds at that point, but to me I don't know if I would have called her fat even then. So, regardless of whether or not you believe me, my writing is based on how I think a relationship would go, using a lot of stories I've read as inspiration and trying to be as realistic as possible.

----------------------------------------------------

Q: A water polo team of gaining girls is brilliant. Where did you get this idea!? Is every story you have about female water polo players?

A: Once again, I credit my Tara inspiration for the water polo idea. She did actually play water polo. As did the inspirations for Chelsea, Nina, Jenna, and Morgan. I liked having some sort of hook in the story and water polo seemed like a good one. Besides, it gave an opportunity to fit fat chicks in bathing suits into my stories, which is always a plus, even if they're not bikinis. Not every story I've written has to do with water polo. Jenna-Louise Coleman doesn't involve it, though I do have a bikini scene in it. ;) However, I am also planning a college story along the lines of Jenna-Louise Coleman (one installment, going as long as it has to) where there would be many protagonists, but the principal one would play volleyball. I like fat girls who are active. I think there's something very attractive about that.

----------------------------------------------------

Q: Ok, these stories are just too good. With all the amazing descriptions you give (which I can vouch for as accurate) I must ask the question. What experiences have you had with BBWs and pools?

A: Honestly, the most I've ever seen are two water polo games in which some of the inspirations for my characters (who are not all fat) have played. Believe it or not, you can't see much there. I try to apply principals of logic to how their bodies would behave in water. I may have seen one or two girls in a pool before, but I've only ever just seen. However, I wouldn't mind having more experiences. ;)

----------------------------------------------------

Q: It's obvious that your literature goes a few steps beyond perversion, however, I noticed you go a few steps beyond social realism to describe love emotions. What facinates you about love?

A: I think it's fair to say that love is a fascinating thing for me. I've never fallen in love, though I've had plenty of crushes. I've always wanted to fall in love, but I just haven't met the right person for me. I'm probably more than a bit of a romantic, so that probably accounts for something.

----------------------------------------------------

Q:Are you going to school right now? Does it involve psychology?

A: I am attending university right now as an English major. I've never taken a psychology and only know cursorily of Freud's ideas of id and ego, the former of which inspired my incredibly short pseudonym.

----------------------------------------------------

Q: "Nina: Donut Daze" is genius, I say it rivals any WG work ever made about a donut shop. Are you proud of this piece?

A: I am proud of Nina. In some ways it's the most like what we traditionally think of as a WG story. I've been very romanced focused in my career and I knew I wanted to write about Nina. I thought since I didn't want to have a romantic interest with her, maybe I should try going into straight WG. I've always loved the donut store/bakery genre of WG. I find it a really wonderful genre. This is the one piece I think goes a bit further from realism, mainly in the final eating contest scene. However, I still find the story to be wonderful, exciting, and exhilarating, so I am still proud of it. Is it the best donut store story ever? I don't know if I'd say so. After all, Louder Than Bombs and Bakery Girls are absolute classics in that genre that I adore. If people come to count me in such company, I'm absolutely honored by it.

Just found this myself, didn't know it had already gone up. Thanks for putting all the time and effort into it.

Without being critical, may I point out that it's spelled Jenna, rather than Jennah? Also, Jenna-Louise Coleman is actually rather tan, despite being British. ;)

Once again, thanks for allowing me the opportunity to give some commentary about my works!
