I don't get it... who are these people? Why are they fighting? What's this about a grail? Why are people getting fat?

All but the dark skinned girl are from the anime Fate/Stay Night. So if you aren't familiar with it, a LOT will be lost in translation (essentially a war between magi for the Holy Grail, using the spirits of past Heroes to fight for them)

As for everything else, I don't even know. The comic is moving by waaay too fast, and a lot is going over my head. Still enjoying the art though

Oh, ok. I've never heard of that show before, it sounds interesting though.
